SADLY THIS EVENT IS NOW CANCELLED – Please listen to Main Street Blues online

Main Street Blues are a highly experienced electric R&B band from Edinburgh. For this event they will be performing a wide selection of material from their popular touring “Kings of the Blues” show, plus much more and will be featuring their new horn section/ backing vocals.

Wolftrain are veterans of the Scottish music scene and founders of the Internationally famous Dundee Blues Bonanza,
They are probably one of the longest standing Blues bands in the UK, a 6/7 piece band playing Blues, R and Swing and good time music, featuring Horns which gives them their unique sound. The band is a mixture of long hard experience and bright new talent.

They have backed Lurrie Bell,Lil Jimmy Reed, Dietra Farr , and two of the original members have shared the stage with Dr.Feelgood,Misty in Roots,Frankie Miller,Paul Jones Blues Band,Queen Ida from Louisiana,Run Rig,Morissey Mullen and latterly Lightnin’ Willie from Texas etc.

Wolftrain have currently added to the present line up ,an artist who has played Glastonbury. The original members gained their heritage from their mother Margaret who promoted Howlin’ Wolf ,Otis Spann and Juke Boy Bonner in the 60s under the Banner of Blues Junction, John Mayall called her “The Blues Pioneer of the North “.

With two great bands taking part in this fund raiser, this promises to be a fantastic night of live R&B music.
