Pélagos is the latest project of bass player and composer Pietro Fauno Finizio, a ten-piece ensemble that performs original compositions inspired by musical atmospheres from across the Mediterranean area.

As to embark the listener on a journey to exotic settings, sounds and moods from the tradition of different lands are re-imagined according to a variety of influences that span through Third Stream, Jazz, Rock and Folk, and end up creating an imaginative blend of written and improvised music.
